This is Oregon Electric train #37, which ran daily southbound from Portland on as far as Garden Home. The railcar is #52, which was built in 1907 and was often used as a lead car. The location of this photo is now occupied by I-5. This view is looking north, at one of the large trestles and appears to be when the line was being double-tracked, so the date is likely in 1914.
